Konsta Roos: Prince

Konsta Roos is a 25-year-old dancer from Helsinki, Finland. Konsta began his dance education at the ‘Helsinki Dance Institute’, later transitioning to the ‘Finnish National Ballet School’, from which he graduated in 2017.

After graduation, Konsta secured his first professional contract with ‘The Finnish National Ballet’. He has since performed with various institutions across Europe, including ‘Ballet Magdeburg’, ‘Ballet Finland’ and several touring ensembles.

During the worldwide pandemic, Konsta fulfilled his military service in the ‘Finnish Defence Forces’ while continuing his dance career as a freelancer.

Currently, Konsta holds a position at the State Opera Varna in Bulgaria, where he portrays soloist roles such as Rothbart in ‘Swan Lake’, the Mouse King in ‘The Nutcracker’, and Carabosse in ‘Sleeping Beauty’.

“I’m very excited to be part of Cinderella with NCB and, at the same time, make my debut performing for American audiences.”

Joshua Webb: Coiffeur, Friend of the Prince

Joshua began dancing at the age of 3 years old in Surrey, England. Joshua joined The Royal Ballet School in 2010 aged 11 where he trained for 2 years until 2012. Joshua then joined Moorland International Ballet Academy in 2013 where he completed his training in 2018. Joshua joined San Diego Ballet as a Lead Dancer in October 2019 where he spent 2 seasons before joining Ajkun Ballet Theatre for the 2021 season. Joshua returned back to the UK to join English Youth Ballet as a principal dancer for the 2022 season. Joshua remains a principal Dancer for English Youth Ballet as well as being a principal dancer for Ballet Fantastique in Eugene, Oregon. Joshua recently performed in a gala at His Majesty’s Theatre in the west end London.

Chauncey Parsons (Ugly Stepsister Zlyuka):

Born in Santa Barbara, California, Chauncey Parsons began dancing at age 12, at the Santa Barbara Ballet Center, under Michelle Pearson and Denise Rinaldi. At 15, he was accepted into the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington D.C., where he trained for three years under Vladimir Djouloukhadze. After graduating, he performed for the State Street Ballet, under Rodney Gustafson, for two years. In 2002, he joined the Colorado Ballet as a soloist under Martin Fredmann, and in 2004 was promoted to the rank of principal dancer. In 2008, he joined OBT as a soloist under Christopher Stowell, and was promoted to principal in 2009. Over the course of his career he has danced a wide variety of roles, including Basil in Don Quixote, Count Albrecht in Giselle, Prince Siegfried in Swan Lake, and Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet. Further, he has danced leading roles in Balanchine’s Rubies, Emeralds, Tarantella, The Nutcracker, and Stravinsky Violin Concerto, Michael Pink’s Dracula and The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Agnes De Mille’s Rodeo, Nicolo Fonte’s Bolero and Never Stop Falling (In Love), Paul Taylor’s Company B, and others.

Kira Ewing (Spring): 

Born in Scotland, Kira completed her training at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Moscow (МГАХ) being the second ever Scottish student to be accepted and attend the academy. Prior to studying in Russia, Kira was a student at the Royal Conservative of Scotland graduating with a BA Modern Ballet. Kira currentlyworks as a soloist with ‘International Classical Ballet of Ukraine’ (directors Andrey Glazshneyder & Iryna Starostina) and as a demi soloist with ‘Nerubashenko Ballet’ (formerly ‘Moscow City Ballet’ under the direction of Marina Medvetskaya), touring across Europe & the UK. Previously, she was an artist with ‘Etoile Ballet Theatre’ in Piacenza, Italy 

performing across Italy and Egypt. Kira will join ‘Kyiv Classical Ballet’ for their upcoming two month tour of Japan. She attended summer programs at Boston 

Ballet School (Boston), Bolshoi Ballet Academy (New York City) and International Ballet Masterclasses in Prague on a scholarship. She was a Scottish Ballet 

associate for 7 years, a semi finalist on the BBC Young Dancer 2019 (Ballet Category) and a finalist at the Youth America Grand Prix in Barcelona. 

Kira is also an accomplished highland dancer and was a world finalist, Scottish National Champion, 3rd in Europe and 3rd in North America. She has also performed with the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo Dance Company in Düsseldorf, Germany. She performed at Windsor Castle for Late Queen Elizabeth II and other members of The Royal Family at the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations alongside Tom Cruise, Helen Mirren, Katherine Jenkins and Alan Titchmarsh to name a few… She is a qualified teacher with the Scottish Dance Teachers’ Alliance and Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance. Additionally, Kira studies BA Business Management (Accounting) online at ‘The Open University’.

Phoebe Hartt (Stepmother): 

Phoebe is a lifelong lover and dancer of ballet. She has been seen in many of NCB’s productions including Dracula and Sleeping Beauty as well as The Nutcracker.

Aaron Singer (Father): 

Aaron’s theater debut was in sixth grade when he landed the role of Daniel P. Duckworth in a little known theatrical piece, “Hessie of the Hills”. Aaron continued on stage in a few high school theatrical performances such as; “As You Like It”. From an early age he performed in choir and carried that through to college. But nothing has prepared him for this role as Drosselmeier. Aaron is humbled to share the stage with such prestigious performers. 

Aaron is an active member of this community; he uses his organization, Paradise Stronger, as a catalyst to serve the residents on the ridge offering health, wellness, and resiliency.

Elizabeth Anzelone: Cinderella

Elizabeth is 22 years old, the Paradise native began her training at the age of 3, performing in several of Northern California Ballet’s productions over the past 18 years.  Elizabeth has been accepted to numerous summer intensives; the Boston Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Ballet West & the Bolshoi Ballet. In 2019 Elizabeth furthered her knowledge of classical ballet by attending the Bolshoi Ballet’s 3-week summer intensive in Manhattan. Elizabeth’s favorite roles to perform include; Flowers of Paradise performed in Northern California Ballet’s summer intensive. Laurencia a Pas de Deux (dance of two) she performed with Bolshoi Ballet summer intensive. Lilac Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty, as well as the Sugarplum Fairy in The Nutcracker.

Josh Peters: Dance Master, Friend of the Prince, Dream Ball Dancer

Joshua is 20 years old, and has danced with NCB for 11 years. He is currently attending Butte College, and hopes to pursue a career in nursing. Josh has been in many NCB peformances, including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and many Nutcrackers. 

Lacey Witten: Fairy Godmother

Lacey began dancing for NCB at 8 years old and has been passionate about ballet ever since. She has lived in Paradise almost her entire life, and recently finished building a new home with her family. She has performed in numerous productions, including Coppelia, Dracula, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote and The Nutcracker, her favorite being A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Lacey loves to teach ballet, and has been enjoying being NCB’s ballet mistress. She plans to dance and teach with NCB for years to come.
